First: Overall Impression

I like how the title screen included all three player sprites. I found that to be cute. In the level design, many items are floating or sized up in a way where they’re very pixelated. Some of the ground tiles are dragged out to where they’re stretched, and on tiles where they tile continuously, you can see the bottom layer on the top. On some of the platforms, instead of using middle tiles, left end tiles are used. Where there is lava, there is only one tile so you can see that there’s nothing under the lava. The confiner should have been moved up to make it look cleaner.  Also, the heart UI is a bit too far to the right, so it looks as if there’s a missing area for a heart. Is the game fun? Yes. I loved the level and of all the games it was the most rewarding to beat. However, the reason it was so rewarding is because there were many bugs which prevented me from immediately beating the game. If the game’s bugs were fixed, I think it would be the best game in this class.

Second: Bugs

I see a lot of bugs. First, if you walk off the edge of the level, there’s no barrier stopping your character from going off the edge. Then, it’ll bring your camera across the screen and show parts of the game I assume you’re not supposed to see. You also can play on even if you reach zero hearts. On two dirt blocks, you lose the ability to jump completely, which can be completely gamebreaking.

Third: Completion

You can win and lose at this game. The doors work, and if you get hit around four times, you lose.

1. A Large level with alot more balance to the enemies and threats. However, one half of the portion needs to be fixed, and mediocre level design. The execution was abit more odd but started to make soem sense as I went through the level, and over it wasn’t difficult but it abit buggy.

2. One half of the portions needs to be remade and fixed, your able to play until you get hit fo the final time, you’re able to clip through certain platforms.

3. The game works, and one portion doesnt. You can win/lose. But the one portion makes the game abit buggier.

1. The first scene fit the game aesthetics very well. I like the background and how the characters are scattered around the screen.

2. The game itself is fun to play and gives a challenge but not too much of one. The scenery changes often and makes the game feel less repeated. I like how the flies and spikes are spread out, having one thing killing the player over and over can be frustrating. As you play the game, it gets easier but any wrong move and it can get difficult

3.  Some of the platforms did not let the player jump, it did not make the game unplayable through. Running across the platform made it able to each the other side. Some of the spikes did not have a kill zone, walking through them did nothing while walking through the others made the player lose life. When the player also lost their hearts completely, it would not restart until the player takes damage an extra time. The game was able to be played completely through.

1. My overall impression

The game was fun, but also quite difficult. There was a lot of platforms, flys, and spikes which made the game a bit hard to play. I liked the castle in the background with the orange flag on top in the beginning of the game.

2. Bugs

The game did had a bit of bugs from here and there. Whenever you had no health left, you still were able to keep playing, until you get hit again, and then the lose screen pops up. The hearts will also be behind the platforms whenever playing. The first platform, the player is able to go through it, but will still be able to land on top of it.

3. Completion

Everything works when wining and losing the game, and the main menu also works too.
